Frequently asked questions
I need a Resource Consent , HELP!
Obtaining a resource consent can be dauting. We can manage the whole process for you from establishing a consent strategy, advising what technical specialists are required to support the application, managing the application process with Councils and compliance with conditions once granted.
Every Council is different in terms of the activities that require/do not require a resource consent. Claire, can navigate the process for you to provide certainty and clarity to your project.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
To get started, we typically follow this process:
Initial Inquiry: We review the basic details of your site.
Feasibility Review: We identify any immediate "red flags" or opportunities.
Proposal: We provide a clear scope of work for your specific project, including estimated costs for our services + advise on the other consultants required to support the application to Council.
Are there any other hidden costs?
Yes - each Council has its own Resource Consent Application Deposit fees (which are only a deposit). Once we have reviewed your proposal, we can advice on what other supporting technical experts are required to prepare the application to submit to Council.
Development contributions are also something that more than likely need to be factored into the costs of a project.
We can provide you with clear understanding of what those costs may be.
